Neustift is a good venue for early season skiing due to the glacier but not enough for a weeks skiing. If you are a complete beginner there are probably much better places to learn. On the mountain the lifts and restaurants were very efficient with very short queues, but this could be due to the time of year. The village was very quiet, not buzzing with much nightlife at all. The hotel bar situated at the foot of the Stubai glacier seemed a good place to start the apres ski.

I run a school ski party to the Stubai Glacier each year. I have been going there since 1996, I am going there this February and have already booked for next year. For school groups it is great, for families with young children it is good if you go when the weather is not too cold, for advanced skiers on their own it is limited, only two challenging runs. However, there aree lots of other resorts in the area so if you have a car you could make it a ski safari.
