Avoriaz is qua prijzen redelijk.

My family stayed in the resort for one week in February 2005. Skiied all seven days. Thoroughly enjoyed until the last minute of lift operations in almost everyday. This was the first experience of staying right on the slope. We stayed in an apartment, therefore no loss of time for travelling. Ski in and out and my wife preferred to ski back a little earlier than we do so to prepare meals. Feeling excited to see many other people around, the slopes however are unbelievably wide and well maintained to allow flow of skiiers at own speed. Mostly blue slopes which suit us and tried some red slopes, particularly by my boys. There is opportunity to ski to the Swiss side. What a special experience

Currently doing a season in Morzine. Fantastic all-round resort. Has to be said if you want to ski hard and fast for the week, Avoriaz is by far the better location. The bubble-car and two slow chairlifts are the only way to Avoriaz (with the exception of getting the bus to Les Prodains telecabin.) It is a tiresome long traverse and is not the best way to spend a week. However, once on top of Avoriaz, Les Portes du Soleil area is just mind-blowing. Only done the full circuit once this year - first and last lift! Im positive I couldnt have gone any quicker! For a cheap family stay its ideal, good apres-ski atmosphere, fantastic beginner slopes on the Morzine les Gets side. On the other hand i
