Top of Pradalago lift has some great blue runs for beginners and a couple of reds. One black which is not difficult as it was wide, empty and plenty of snow. You can buy either a Madonna ski pass or an all areas pass - the difference is about 4 euros per day.
Easy connections from top of Pradalago to ski down to Folgarida or across to the Cinque Laghi gondola. From the top of the Cinque Laghi gondola you can either ski down half way where there are other connections to runs on the same side of the valley OR take the gondola across to the Spinale side.

Madonna di Campiglio has a lot to offer for a resort of modest-size: top-notch mountain restaurants, award-winning grooming, classic black pistes and Italy's best terrain park. The town is a charmer too. More specific I enjoyed the tree-lined pistes from Pradalago back into town and loved the high standard of piste preparation. Furthermore the scenery is great - there's a real mix of geology here, so it's never boring to look at!
What I did not like was the the lack of off-piste. Much of the surrounding land is National Park, and therefore off-limits. And last but not least the long, linear layout of the town. Try to book a hotel near a lift to compensate.
