The Resort is ok, fairly cheap(if you make an effort) but snowconditions are not what I expected them to be like. I've been to les Deux alpes for 3 times and had a lot of fun being there. However, this resort would not even be in my top5. The run back to the village is terrible, it's a long path that becomes extremely crowded at the end of the day because there is no alternative. At the end you have a choice between a greenslope and a black one. In my opinion, the black one is much more relaxed than the green one which is completely ruined after a full day. The black stays fairly boardable...

The resort itself is excellent, with something to please everyone. If you ever say you are bored in this resort, you have no pulse. The glacier wasn't as good as I had hoped, due to the lack of snow, but this is a climatic problem. Nevertheless, we were still able to get some hours of fun in. More ice than I would have preferred, but understandable, and still ridable. The resort is expensive, but it's a creeping expensive, you don't see it coming because everything seems so reasonable. You can still function fully without overstretching with some good planning and use of supermarket takeouts. I hope to go again next year, but for the beginning iof the season, when they have had snow!! Great

2 Alpes is a really great ski resort for families, beginnners and intermediatels. i stayed with my 2 children and whilst they were in the ski school (it was their first time) I could go and have fun. there were lots of really good restaurants and shops so even after a hard day ski-ing you could relax. the kids really enjoyed going swimming in the open air pool and ice skating too. Overall its a great resort for everyone.

Pistes were great, expansive and wide. Some of the difficulty ratings are questionable, but I think this is a regular query for French resorts. The glacier has some great runs from the top down to Toura. The green coming down into Cretes is a bit of a walk at the end for snowboarders and the green from Cretes down into the village is quite a narrow zig-zag path that is quite crowded in the late afternoon as people descend. Also a few flat bits on Gours piste, but it is magnificent scenery. The Slide pistes, such as the boardercross or the canyons are superb, Ive never tried anything like them and the snowparks were brilliant to watch other people if you didnt want to have a go yourself. Excellent resort - one of the best ive been to. excellent for kids - our 3.5 year old learnt ot ski in a week - thats how good it is. would recommend to any one.
