No matter where your accomodation is you are never far from the slopes. Snowsure until late in the season and extraordinarily sunny. Plenty to keep all levels busy for a week and the free nursery lifts (5 free button lifts) close to the town are fantastic and a great saving. The ski schools are professional with a high standard. We stayed in self catering accomodation which was good and in the centre of town. Cannot vouch for the apres ski as we were in bed shattered by midnight most nights. We intend to go back in January 2010

Les Deux Alpes is one of the most snow-sure resorts in France thanks to the vast ski areas above 3000 metres. Those in search of first time off piste should try the slopes serviced by La Fée chair lift and for the experts take the link over to the off-piste resort of La Grave and ski some of the most spectacular terrain in Europe at nearly 3700 metres. For an end of day challenge, try the snow sure Valentine black run back into the resort. Les Deux Alpes has an impressive variety of bars and clubs to suit everybody. For live après-ski music try Smokey Joes or the Umbrella Bar at the bottom of the slopes. For international food and a fun bar try Smithies and for late night dancing head t

We really enjoyed our trip to Les Deux Alpes the second week of March. This is a very good high resort for intermediate and good skiers with fantastic snow and the largest glacier in Europe (3568m). If you like the off-piste skiing don't miss the legendary La Grave. The atmosphere in the resort is great with a real holiday feel. Our residence, Eperon 2, is in a superb location with excellent facilities only 100 metres from the departure of the Jandri Express cable car. We had a fabulous holiday in Les Deux Alpes.

Just back from a week of skiing in Les Deux Alps. The skiing was great, one heavy snow fall early on set us up for a fantastic weeks skiing. The lift system is very good with virtually no queues and the pistes were well prepared and generally not crowded. The main gripe is that piste classification system is very poor, with a marked tendency to understate difficulty. This is not a beginners resort, with the seeming large numbers of blues being very misleading; most would be red elsewhere. The only runs down to the village are either a long, icy and narrow green piste, which was positively dangerous at the end of the day due to overcrowding and the sheer *** off the side, or an excellent blac
