Campitello is a quite, pretty little village not too far from the busier Canazei. The one access point to the ski area is from Col Rodella which is pretty quick despite what might appear to be large queues. Once onto the mountain at Campitello the variety of slopes is amazing, as are the mountain huts. Proper Italian food and wine. The Sella Ronda is easily achievable from here and in both directions. Loved Canazei. For me most slopes were easily skiable except initially for the more challenging reds and on the Sella Ronda Clockwise - some aspects of the red runs approaching and around Arabba. Take cash with you to the mountain restaurants as not all accept cards. Check and double check the run routes before and during your run (not always clearly signed). Great run back to the north end of town but be careful of other skiers as it narrows greatly during the last 200 metres or so.…

Nendaz is located within the quatre valleys but the connecting lifts are somewhat underdeveloped. To get from Nendaz to the other valleys required a button lift. In general the ski lifts were so easy to use and the views were just absolutlety outstanding with loads of snow and skiing. The skiing and the resort people were very friendly and welcoming with everything geared for the skiing and snow sports. There was a very good travel system available in Nendaz and excellent places to eat…
