Latest ski resort reviews

Been skiing at Megeve every year for the last 16 years. The views are excellent, there are numerous restaurants dotted all over the resort and they are almost all proper restaurants (none of the self-service canteens you get in the bigger resorts). As with all low resorts the snow is not always great at the beginning and end of the season (having said that I had 50cm of untouched powder in the middle of April two years back, and a full week of fresh powder every day last Christmas).…

A lovely resort, not huge but big enough and you can get a lift pass to cover La Clusaz and the rest of the Aravis if you want. Unpretentious, good skiing and also not over-priced. Not only is Le Grand Bornand village itself a nice place to stay (can recommend the Hotel Croix St. Maurice), but you can stay up the mountain in Le Chinaillon; even Annecy, a beautiful city with lots of everything is only 40 mins. drive away, If you want a European resort away from all the Brits, and like…

Small and quiet especially in the evening. Fantastic for a short break, great snow when i went in March, quiet even at the weekend. Great place for families - lovely atmosphere. Skiing excellent for beginner and intermediates. Good snow as very high and renowned for good snow. 7 or 8 off piste ski routes which were a lot of fun! Only heard 2 other English voices all weekend. You can even ski mountaineer to Switzerland if you wish!
