Awesome place, great crowd-free pistes and some off piste action. Drive up would get boring after a week but amazing, especially in avalanche season! Real high mountain feel, go for a pizza at Andreas's in Feichten on way back. Reasonable prices, you can always go to Fendels for a change.

The resort is aproximately 1hr drive from Grenoble Airport. the resort is virtually unknown by the British, and has been mainly used by the locals from Grenoble and the surrounding area. The village atmosphere is phenominal... with superb (if a little pricey) bars and amazing restaurants, Apres-Ski is beaten by only the lariest of resorts. The mountains differ greatly depending on which ones you ski, and the weather will dictate where you (can) go. Klein Matterhorn is amazing but truly brutal in all but the best conditions. Gornergrat is relaxed and rolling, and accessed via a 45 minute train-ride. Rothorn, Blauherd and Sunnegga provide some of the best views of the…
