I found Prato Nevoso to be a great laid back resort off the beaten track for the main names in the Alps, and more relaxed for it. The pistes are wide, fast, easy and sunny and there seem to be a lot of fast new lifts to get up the slopes. The nightlife was minimal and we had to travel quite far down the mountain to get to a little nightclub (kind of) which was pretty empty but still there was a big group of us so still a laugh. Levi, it is a truly magical little town! It has such a unique atmosphere, the pistes are excellent, as was the snow. I have skied all over Europe and the Rockies but enjoyed all the activities which Levi had to offer. The ski area is not the biggest but we only had to queue a few times and so that kept us happy. Most of the tows are T-Bars but are easy enough to ride. The best thing is the tepees' on the slopes with a log fire to keep you warm!
