My partner and I went to Leogang over new year 2005-2006. I have skied quite a lot before but for him it was all new. The nursery slopes by main Leogang gondola are absolutely fine. He was whizzing down them after a couple of days. I would however off a slight word of caution to beginners considering Leogang for a weeks holiday. The runs to the resort from both the mid- and top station of the gondola, although graded blue, are not suitable for near beginners. A look at an old piste map reveals theyve been regraded from red to blue... also, the links with Saalbach-hinterglemm are a problem for novices and early intermediates.
