Leogang reviews

Leogang did not disappoint. Although virtually unknown, it's really the thinking man's way into the Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Circus, with most of its slopes north facing, well covered by artificial snow and a village untouched by mass Alpine tourism.You don't get any of those 10 am village queue bottlenecks, like going up to the Bernkogel out of Saalbach, nor do you get too much problem with south facing, slushy slopes like those you'll find on the Kohlmaiskopf or Reiterkogel. Leogang's ski area is served by the recently refurbished Asitzbahn which whisks you in ten minutes to the top of the snow trap of the Grosse Asitz at 1870m-the 10km blue/red run back to t
