Leogang reviews

During our third trip there in January on the trot, Leogang again delivered in spades during the annual friends get-together. Early January sees two highly entertaining weekends in the village &#8211; the Ice Speedway and an old timers traditional wooden ski equipment World Championships . The latter is an excuse for enthusiastic Austrians to dress up in tweed or loden jackets and old leather buckled ski boots and then strap on dodgy-looking prehistoric pointed planks and hurtle down from the top of the Asitz through the trees on the most direct route to the Kirchplatz! Our watering hole was again the excellent Kirchenwirt &#8211; Hannes and Elisabeth were as hospitable as ever. The
