Verbier bezocht in januari 2006.

Excellent ski area for off piste and on piste people, We had some trouble with the links between the various resorts in the Four Valleys area and would probably not recommend skiing all the way over to Thyon, as there are lots of T-Bars and buttons to contend with. However the amount of skiing in and around Verbier is very good. This was my third ski trip and as an intermediate and whilst I could not understand the attraction to off piste skiing (had not tried it) - I am well and truely converted now! By the end of the holiday we were searching for off piste mogul fields, and there are lots too!!! This is a very good resort for the confident intermediate to advanced skiers for sure. We used

Me and 10 friends just got back from a week in Verbier and it is fair to say that the resort must rate as one of the best in Europe. We went just after a medium snow fall so I guess we didnt see the very best of the conditions, non the less there is plenty to go at and plenty of hits and s to play around on. There is a lot of talk about this being an expensive resort and I guess if you want to get rid of your money it can be!! If you go to the right places food and beer is only the same or slightly more expensive than home. Hit the Wonderbar for all the footie and rubgy matches with decent priced drinks. Im a boarder who loves North American resorts for the terrain and general feel when your

Verbier is a fantastic resort and deserves all the plaudits. althought it is not the prettiest resort ever, if it has good snow the skiing can be amazing. i have spent a season there and never got bored of the skiing - althought the lifts need updating and the snowpark needs drastic improvement with the inclusion of a half pipe. nightlife can be from excellent to damaging (both head and wallet).

Wow! i visited for 1 day as part of a long weekend in switzerland and had a fab time. i had previously visited verbier 7 years ago on my learn to ski week and wanted to see what the resort was like now that i could explore it properly. what a great days skiing we had. the resort is great for advanced intermediates with lots of steep sweeping runs criss crossing the mountain. however, i think many beginners would find the resort restrictive as many of the slopes would intimidate and the availability of nursery slopes and blue runs are limited.
