Val disere has it all. it is snow-sure (in fact you can ski / board in summer on the glacier), high up and serviced by excellent infrastructure both in resort and on the slopes. the people are friendly, (the french are friendly no matter what you hear), the resort is designed with skiing / snowboarding in mind and it is guaranteed to be an excellent winter destination. if you go for a week or even two there is such a large area to cover that few will become bored. with such a large skiable area you would expect some areas to be difficult to reach but that is not the case. i have been with experts and novices and they have all found val to be great. the lifts are excellent with the funival tr

Wonderfull resort, friendly people, good selection of shops, excellent food, enough entertainment, great for skiing, especially for a beginner like me. learned to ski in just 5 days.. like a pro!
