Unieke ligging in Unesco wereldnatuurgebied. Geen overbevolkte pistes en geen wachttijden bij de liften. Veel variatie in skipistes, misschien minder uitdagend voor snowborders en ver goverderde skiers. Riederalp is minder geschikt voor uitgaansleven en après-ski. Voor pur sang ski, rust en een onvergelijkbaar panorama in een prachtige natuur.
