i have been skiing in La Clusaz for over ten years now and each year I return the skiing improves. There is a wide varitety of slopes which enables beginners and experts to ski in the beautiful wilderness which surrounds La Clusaz. La Clusazs snow is groomed to a high standard and with an abundance of snow cannons there is always a healthy amount of ski able snow. There are also many off piste tracks which will test even the most experienced up on the massive de la Balme. In the traditional rustic town there are many restaurants which serve traditional food and specialities of the area. Also if you come to La Clusaz during the christmas period there are many attractions going on in the main

Snow level and quality was excellent for early season and weather was blue skies apart from New Years Eve, where we were treated to 15cm dump of snow plus Fireworks !!!. The resort is very French and is extremely pretty. All 5 ski areas arrive back into the resort, which is ideal for meeting up and even though the skiing may not test expert skiers too much, it is more than enough for most mere mortals. La Balme has the best quality snow, being the highest and most shaded area. Probably the most testing slopes too. Views from the top are breathtaking, with priceless views of Mont Blanc and beyond. The children loved the tree lined skiing at Croix Fry, Manigod and Beauregard. Not particularly

Have spent a season and numerous weeks holidays in the french ski resort La Clusaz over the last few years - stunning scenery fantastic and relatively undiscovered off-piste - very quiet skiing although Feb half-terms definately to be avoided. Skiing looks relatively limited on paper but links to nearby Grand Bornand and easy driving access to Chamonix/Megeve etc means you won\\\'t be bored. Locals are very helpful, ski schools great - go there!!
