Aprica' ski area is of average size with 50 km of piste, but enough for a weeks skiing/boarding unless of course you're very advanced. There is a good mix of well linked blue, red, and also a few black runs. Very well suited to beginners as slopes are uncrowded and only a short walk to ski lifts. Runs are serviced by two gondolas & a brand new four seater express chair lift. The slopes are held in very good conditions. Aprica is a small town with a few shops, bars, supermarkets & a swimming pool. Locals are all very friendly.
