Pila reviews

Pila has had a lot of investment since my last vist in 2006, new cable car to Aosta. Snow conditions fantastic, best for 20 years according to locals, 250cm at top, 150cm in village, had more snow on Xmas day, rest of time was sunny, but very cold on Fri and Sat, -10 both days, Stunning views from Mont Blanc to Matterhorn. Pistes very well maintained, Grimondet lift open at last! lovely red run through the meadow. Red runs 1 and 2 were excellent. Great resort for 1 week if you want deserted pistes and reliable snow.
