Alagna is a fantastic area with great skiing for all abilities and great access to off-piste. Best suits adventures intermediates to experts, but also offers 180kms of good cruising pistes. Alagna can get busy at peak times because of its proximity to Milan/Turin but very quite the majority of time. Be aware, when it snows or gets cloudy, the high altitude at Alagna creates white-out conditions. When it happens, very little of the terrain is accessible because you're unable to see where you are going and can't even say if you're going up or down.
