Alagna reviews

Pisted skiing is limited for beginners / intermediates however the area is excellent for off piste skiing / powder hound. To get the best out of the resort a mountain guide is a must (in 04 circa Euro 230 per day). There are two local guide companies. Heli skiing is also a must if conditions are good. The new cable car, which will open in late 04, will do a lot to link Alagna to the other resorts in the area. Restuarants are somewhat limited and night life very limited but both are made up for by the friendly welcome of the locals.
