Having spent most of of my previous holidays in most resorts in Europe, it was a joy to discover Abetone where the people are genuinly most kind and not out to take advantage. I have been there when I have been virtually the sole skier on the slopes with clear blue skies and excellent scenery, though on the Public holidays it can get busy but nowhere near as bad as I found on the better known resorts in Europe. The lift system in the Abetone skiregion is so slick you rarely ever have to queue. The prices for the lift tickets are very reasonable and superb value in my opinion catering for all levels novice to advanced.
