I went on my very first skiing holiday this year and Villard de Lans and Correncon exceeded all my expectations - it was fantastic and I would love to go back again. Th emost stunning scenery in this family orientated ski resort. You will go along way to find a more perfect place to ski if you ar ein a family group. Whilst there are not many black runs (3) there is certainly enought o keep the bst of skiers interested. Ski through forests and canyons as wekk as plenty of wide open spaces. There is a new high speed lift for the 2007/08 season and a fantastic snow park is due to be opened in the village for this season too - so you can play around on sledges and rings and lety loose after a day on the mountain. the resort has 128 kms of piste not 28 as listed so there loads to ski...

Beautifully situated in a high alpine valley of the western French Alps, this ski resort offers beautiful views and excellent skiing conditions late into spring. Villard de Lans received good marks especially in the categories beginners, intermediate skiers and families. But also snowboarder who are not in need of a snow park and experts can enjoy a day on the slopes in beautiful Villard de Lans. Especially families we can recommend a stay of several days as they are provided with lots of fun aloof the slopes like hiking, cross country skiing ect
