High moumtains stunning scenery snow sure. The sights over the glacier are astonishing and the vertical * of the slopes one of the best worldwide. The Pearl of the Alps! Interesting skiing. There is something for everyone here beginner to expert. Testing off-piste (but definitely ONLY with a mountain guide!

Scenic slopes No negative aspects!

The skiing area is not huge but provides a good variety for all intermediate skiers and we experienced no queues at any time. Pistes aren particularly steep , but there are long ( 1700 m vertical) runs to the village and some steeper pitches on Itineraries and alongside pistes. The off-piste opportunities are limited to some extent by the glaciated nature of the higher slopes but there was plenty of fun to be had.

No local charm Long slopes

Saas Fee is blessed with some of the most snow-sure slopes in the Alps. The ski area has just 100km of piste, but with a vertical *** of 1700m from the slopes to the village, intermediate skiers should be able to entertain themselves for at least a week. Saas Fee is a big snowboarders' hangout with a snowpark on the glacier, equipped with half-pipe, rails and tables. Popular apres-ski bars in Saas Fee are the No-one bar, complete with sofas and armchairs in the snow, Nesti's and the boarder-friendly Popcorn Bar.

Saas Fee is a SUPERB town, the surroundings are amazing.... The atmosphere is great.
Saas Fee is a MUST go for any advanced rider. If you are a beginner, DONT GO TO SAAS FEE... The slopes are not very suitable for beginners. For more advanced riders saas fee is the best.
The lift infra is bad. But if you dont mind walking its OK..

Saas Fee is not the biggest resort, and sometimes it can take a while to get to certain points of the mountain, especially if you're there during busy holiday weeks like New Years, half-term, etc. I have spent the season working here, and have had the best powder days of my life. Learned how to master the half-pipe and had incredible off-piste runs through all parts of the mountain, including the lower sections through the woods. It's one of the only places I have been where you can almost run into wildlife grazing. This place if everything and more of what I imagined a beautiful Swiss ski resort to be. A great apres-ski culture, some really nice restaurants, some cool bars.
