La Rosiere reviews

La Rosiere is compact and, in comparison to many other French resorts, is pretty. The locals are friendly and ski hire from La Poudre excellent. The skiing itself is limited if you like 'fast and furious' and the link to La Thuile temperamental - weather dependent. High winds are common but the resort is south facing so plenty of sunshine too. Mountain restaurants are cheaper than many of La Roz's neighbours and the food we had in both France and Italy was very good. Highly recommend the Genepi in La Roz.
