La Rosiere reviews

Great snow at the moment, although La Rosiere suffers a bit from freeze/thaw as in the sun all day although this means it's very warm some days, even in January. Take good sun protection if you are going in March! La Thuille, had a bit less snow but colder, and the snow was in better condition, as in the shade a lot more. Whole area mostly easy intermediate skiing, with hardly a mogul in sight. I prefered the skiing in La Thuille as it's a bit steeper, with some decent black runs, and some very nice runs through the trees. Loads of easy, relatively safe off-piste at La Rosiere, which we were lucky enough to enjoy for 2 good days (while it was snowing and the day after). But after that, the f
