Beautiful village, great ski bus (theyre swiss, everything is always on time, efficent and clean) slopes were good higher up, sarted to have grass showing through when you try to board all the way back to the village, though (jan 05). looking at the maps boarding from top to bottom looks like a great idea, but i dont recommend it, especially if youre a boarder as all of the runs down from the grindelwald area have long flat sections frequently involving uphill bits. area around klienashiedeg (i cant spell) is brilliant for fast reds (my friend did manage to break his arm, but its all part of the fun) but can get kinda crowded on lifts though. nothing of significance for boarders who want to
