Reviews

Solden love it or hate it. What's to love? Well if you are an experienced skier you will probably love the glaciers and the slopes towards the village. Moreover the slopes are always maintained very well. On the other hand many people hate the Gigijoch for all the beginners, snowboarders and ski classes. It is always very crowded here, although the lift system is excellent. The atmosphere has rocked bottom the past few years because of the rude Russians and other East-Europeans. The village in itself is scattered alongside a road a narrow valley. It does not have the charming image as other village in Austria, like Kirchberg, Mayrhofen, Zell am See or Lech.
