Spent the week of 16th to 23rd December in Cervinia. We drove there and had a somewhat quaint (in a sixties sort of way) apartment in the Theodule Block next door to the Petit Palais, very convenient for the lifts to Plan Maison. Weather was brilliant, and sking superb, we skied pretty much everything, including lots on the Swiss side - nothing ever closed by wind. The pistes here are huge, and seem to go on for ever, absolutely perfect for intermediates. There were also no queues for lifts all week! The best place to eat on the mountain we found was the little restaurant at Furrg on the Swiss side, and in the evening at "Falcone" Pizzeria Ristorante where prices were reasonable and food and
