Ellmau reviews

The ski area of Ellmau is linked up to the Ski Welt which is pretty big. We have only skied part of it so lots more to explore yet. Ellmau seems to attract return visitors year after year and we are returning again this winter. Ellmau is a very good choice of resort for beginners and intermediates. Probably OK for advanced too although they may need to venture further across the Ski Welt to find the black runs!! We aren't big on apres-ski so can't comment too much on that although I believe there are places in the village for those who do want to stay out drinking - not a big 'party scene' though, more family-orientated on the whole and not full of groups of people on the pull!
