A charming village with a good choice of accommodation and restaurants. Kaprun is the friendliest place we have been to in Austria, the locals can do enough to help and make you feel very welcome. We loved the lively apres-ski bars in Kaprun at the bottom of the Maiskogel and the Pavilion in the centre, both with great atmosphere, lively crowds and friendly staff.
