I have gone to a lot of ski-resorts in Europe but Lech and Zurs are probably the best. Lech offers 5 star service with extra friendly people. The skiing is excellent if not the most difficult. The lift system is a dream with little or no queue's anywhere. None of the pretence you may get in some French resorts. Except from ski and snowboard, Lech and Zurs have good night-life and also very nice restaurants. I hope next year to go there again.

I have skied many places in Europe but I must admit LECH (Arlberg Valley) has to go down as my personal favorite! Beautiful scenery. Great intermediate runs, fine properties..and not just for the upper crust set! The interlinking of the areas by ski or bus is unmatched in Europe. If you are looking for the COMPLETE PACKAGE I would stay down in St. Anton. The skiing and the APRES skiing has no comparison

Had a fantastic week in Lech. We were given a great welcome and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were self catering and didnt feel at all out of place. There are two good supermarkets and lots of restaurants - for some reason quite a few dont take credit or debit cards, but there are several cash machines so it was not a problem. The infrastructure is superb, efficient free buses, lots of decent covered and even heated lifts, good signage and no queues the week we went (end of Jan). We had great fun skiing the White Ring, all round the mountains and back to Lech and there were lots of good runs for us as intermediates. The resort is very pretty and has a floodlit toboggan run and l

The skiing and snowboarding terrain at Lech and Zurs is excellent; there are open powder fields, endless off piste opportunities, steep mogul fields and seemingly never ending wide linked groomed trails and gentle beginner areas. The lift system is fast and efficient transporting crowds up and out of both villages very quickly. Lech and Zurs are lift linked to the neighbouring resorts of St Anton and St Christoph. The four linked resorts, referred to as the ‘Arlberg Ski Area’ are all accessible on the one ski pass. The Eisbar in the Tannbergerhof Hotel is the best après ski bar in Lech, attracting big crowds every afternoon the outdoor bar serves hot wine and pla

After taking a first look at the trail map the expert skier could be a little disappointed of the Lech / Zürs ski resort. But don’t get a wrong impression!! There might be only one difficult trail to be found on the trail map (Sonnbergabfahrt 15 a in Zürs) but 5 demanding and 13 intermediate skiroutes should make up for the lacking black diamond runs. We especially liked the short skiroute 45 at the Steinmähderlift. But to tap its full potential there should be enough snow. At the Weibermahdlift on the Berger-Rinderalpe the expert skiers can test their skills on the speed-check circuit. In Zürs at the Babylift and in Lech at the Hinterwieslift permanent training circuits are to be
