Prachtige pistes.

Visited St Johann in march with my own family and 2 other families. We had a great time and thought it fantastic value for money. More skiing that we had been concerned about and easy to hop in a taxi to Kitzbuhel or Ellamau. The new ski school - Wilder Kaiser was professional, helpful and dedicated. Our teenagers had a particularly good time and were in a group of only 5! The instructors were very accommodating both with the group instruction and the private. We stayed at the Bruckenwirt hotel in town (7 min walk to ski school meeting). Hotel had lovely rooms although they seemed a little overstretched! Night life pretty quiet but a few nice bars in town. Good Mountain restaurants particula

I have been going to Austria for about 14 years now and have been to most of the resorts. St Johann is a very family friendly resort and my 9 year old daughter enjoyed it so much that she has insisted that we return this year. The ski school staff are excellent and the pistes are very well prepared. A highlight of the week for us was the demonstration of skiing by the ski instructors half way through the week, it helps of course that it all happens outside of a very good apri ski bar! The resort is easy to navigate around and the skiing is more enjoyable than challenging, while the night life is varied and good value. The snow conditions last year were some of the best that I have ever skied

Very pleasant resort with relatively easy access to slopes. the slopes for the experienced skier can be limited but for families or those wishing to learn it is an ideal place. great for mixed ability group. we used the wilder kaiser ski school, which was excellent! very positive, keen, progressive instructors and particularly good with our fast teenagers! all in all a good value resort with great tutition.
