Levi is a perfect destination for a wintersport holiday in general, not just for skiing. Besides wide open pistes there were many other activities to entice visitors to this snowy wonderland. We participate in the husky rides as well as our favourite reindeer safaris! Having visited may other ski resorts over the years since this first visit to Levi, nothing has quite matched up to it's magic. Hence we have booked a ski holiday back in the winter of 2011

Levi, it is a truly magical little town! It has such a unique atmosphere, the pistes are excellent, as was the snow. I have skied all over Europe and the Rockies but enjoyed all the activities which Levi had to offer. The ski area is not the biggest but we only had to queue a few times and so that kept us happy. Most of the tows are T-Bars but are easy enough to ride. The best thing is the tepees' on the slopes with a log fire to keep you warm!

We Skied Levi 11th to 18th March 2007. This is the first week after the Finland holidays, so somewhat quieter than the proceeding weeks. If you are looking for a week of challenging hard skiing on Blacks, then this is not the resort. If however, you are looking for a week filled with cruising picturesque un-crowded slopes then this is the place. All slopes were groomed and it is possible to go off piste very easily from one run to another if you want. No trip to Levi is complete without a quick run down the G2 run, which is used for the Women’s World Cup Slalom, and has a final 50-degree pitch. The resort appears very family friendly (I don’t have one!) and with the trips
