Wagrain reviews

Loads of red and blue cruising runs. Short transfer – 1 hour from Salzburg. Everyone in resort was very friendly and helpful. Clearly a genuine local resort used by Austrians and Germans. Main run down from the Grafernberg to Wagrain is a great long run. The costs here were very reasonable. For 12 Euros you could get a large lunch with main course , dessert and drink., where the same in the 3 Valleys would cost at least 25 Euros. Cons: There are only a few really tough runs and given snow conditions when we were there off piste wasn’t really on the cards. Not mega for nightlife. Usual vigorous Austrian après ski starting at 4pm but tends to end by 6pm. We found 1 great late
