Ski area Obertauern

We went to Obertauern from 13-20th Jan 07. We stayed in the Rigele Roy. which was very comfortable and good value. I loved the indoor-outdoor pool. It's true what everyone else has says about the piste map (appalling) but the runs are great. Our group was 1 total beginner, 2 early intermediates and 1 advanced intermediate. My husband was also delighted with the quality of his instruction and can do black runs now by himself. All the ski schools have different meeting points (Grillitsch meets opposite the hotel marietta) but if you want to avoid a trek with skis in the morning choose one which meets near your hotel.
